Why Do You Need a Registered Dietitian?
A Registered Dietitian works with individuals on their specific nutritional needs to develop plans for improving health and/ or preventing disease. This is done on a one-to-one basis, or can include an entire family.
The dietitian will tailor the session to personal requests and needs. A Registered Dietitian provides accurate, reliable advice and keeps current with the latest scientific research. A Registered Dietitian has completed a minimum of four years of education and training in the field of nutrition at a college or university, completed a supervised internship and passed an exam to earn the credential.
