Catherine Ekwa-Ekoko, MD

Catherine Ekwa-Ekoko is interested in Neonatology as a whole but is especially interested in supporting families as team members in the care of their babies by providing family centered care. She is also is interested in following NICU patients through discharge and providing support and continuity of care in our follow-up clinic. She is currently IBCLC certified.

Dr. Ekwa-Ekoko was raised in England and speaks French, Polish and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys ball-room dancing and drumming. She is also a remarkably nice person with a sly sense of humor. We will note that she has claimed to have escaped her clan in a village bordering the Saharan desert at the age of 15 on a camel, but we don’t believe a word of it.
