Adrienne Macdonald, MD, MPH

A Santa Barbara native, Dr. Macdonald is a pediatric hospitalist and the Director of Inpatient Pediatrics. She attended Berkeley for her undergrad degree and earned a Master of Public Health degree, followed by UC Irvine for medical school, as part of the newly established PRIME-LC program. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Oakland before returning home to the central coast. She has a special interest in global health, child abuse and breastfeeding medicine. When she's not at work, her four kids keep her busy. She loves to cook, travel, scuba dive and spend as much time outside as possible.
