Cottage Children’s Medical Center Pediatric Residency Program

Welcome to the Cottage Children’s Medical Center Pediatric Residency Program. We are excited to introduce you to our training program where we are building a program dedicated to preparing pediatric physicians for any future career path.

We hope the sense of community is evident as a common thread that runs throughout our training program. We are striving to foster a residency community that is diverse, inquisitive, inclusive, collaborative, and reflective of the community we are privileged to serve.

We are a Community-based hospital with an emphasis on providing care to the underserved in our ambulatory clinics, resident-led advocacy projects and population health initiatives. On rotations, most notably on ambulatory rotation at Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics, residents will see first hand how barriers can impact care provision, and learn to help our patients overcome these barriers.
