The Cottage Family Suites are 12 comfortable suites for families who have a family member receiving care at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The suites are located just a block away from the hospital.
For Family Members of Patients
Cottage Family Suites are provided to family members of patients who are primarily in the hospital’s critical care units, where visitors cannot stay overnight. Other considerations include the family’s distance from home, as well as clinical circumstances.
Guests may stay in a Cottage Family Suites for up to three nights while their family member is in the hospital. If they need to stay longer, requests will be considered based on availability.
A Comfortable Home Away From Home
Set in a peaceful garden setting, each guest suite can host up to four family members and has a queen size bed, a couch with a fold out bed, a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, TV, Wifi and washer and dryer. Daily housekeeping services are provided as well.

How to Request a Cottage Family Suite
Cottage Family Suites do not take reservations. Instead, they keep a waitlist of requests by date. To be placed on the waitlist for a stay at Cottage Family Suites, families should contact the Hospitality Services Department at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital at 805-898-2036.
