Cottage Primary Care announces the relocation of Dr. Janina Meissner-Frisk to its Cottage Primary Care – Santa Ynez Valley – Old Mission practice, effective January 15, 2024. Dr. Meissner-Frisk joins Dr. Kathryn Brewer at this new location.
Dr. Meissner-Frisk, who joined Cottage Primary Care in September of 2023, has been serving patients at Cottage Primary Care – Santa Ynez Valley – Viborg. Dr. Meissner-Frisk’s move to the Old Mission practice will allow her to continue seeing her current patients while improving the practice’s ability to welcome new patients.
Dr. Meissner-Frisk, a Santa Ynez Valley native, is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has extensive experience in providing primary care. She earned her medical degree from Kansas City University College of Biosciences and Osteopathic Medicine. Before that, she earned her master’s degree in nutrition from Cal Poly – Pomona and undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from Westmont College and Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo.
