Physician Returns Home to Santa Ynez Valley to Practice Medicine Where She Grew Up

Janina Meissner-Frisk, DO, family medicine provider and Santa Ynez Valley native, has joined Cottage Primary Care – Santa Ynez Valley - Viborg (2030 Viborg Road in Solvang), where she will practice primary care medicine alongside Roger I. Lane, MD, FACP and Pablo Rojas, PA-C.

Dr. Meissner-Frisk is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has extensive experience in providing care. She earned her medical degree from Kansas City University College of Biosciences and Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to that, she earned her master’s degree in nutrition from Cal Poly – Pomona and undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from Westmont College and Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo.

Dr. Meissner-Frisk feels privileged to partner with patients on their healthcare journey and is excited to return to Santa Ynez Valley, where she grew up.
